Kurt Arnold sued Hercules Offshore over an injury to a roughneck during drilling operations near Venice, Louisiana. The plaintiff resides in San Jacinto County and had worked for Hercules for over four years. He was injured in inland waters when he was hurt while the crew was being rushed to rack back drilling pipe without adequate personnel. As a result, he blew out a disc in his back in July 2008. Arnold filed the case in Galveston County Court.
