Arnold & Itkin LLP trucking accident lawyers Cory Itkin and Bob Wynne are pleased to announce a $1,557,500 jury verdict on behalf of their client Michael LaFleur. The defendant, Conglobal Industries, Inc., only offered $5000 to settle the case. Mr. LaFleur suffered a torn meniscus when he was bumped by a tractor trailer leaving the facility where Mr. LaFleur worked. He needed arthroscopic knee surgery to fix the problem. The truck driver worked for Conglobal Industries, Inc. Conglobal argued that the knee injury was not very serious and that Mr. LaFleur should have recovered from his injury in a matter of weeks. Conglobal also argued that the accident was Mr. LaFleur's fault for jumping in front of the truck right before the accident. Arnold & Itkin LLP showed the jury that the accident was the fault of the Conglobal driver. Arnold & Itkin LLP in proud to see another one of its clients get the compensation he deserves. The case was pending in Harris County, Texas with the Honorable Larry Weiman presiding. - Disbursement Pending
